How you'll learn
100% online training on the SEIUM Institute campus, with downloadable materials, recorded classes and an assigned technical tutor. There are no fixed timetables: you progress at your own pace within each intake, so the programme is compatible with full-time work.
Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standards and applied exercises. The working software is Apache ActiveMQ Artemis, Solace PubSub+, Altova XMLSpy, Postman and Python with qpid-proton, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Practical work is based on real procedures: subscribing to meteorological information services, consuming Network Manager data and validating AIXM and FIXM messages. Assessment is continuous by module, plus a final capstone project.
Standards covered: Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2021/116, ICAO Doc 10039, ICAO Doc 9965, Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2017/373, AIXM 5.1, FIXM 4.3, IWXXM 3.0, OASIS AMQP 1.0.
Build it end to end
Your final project follows the real engineering workflow, step by step, reviewed by your tutor.
