How you'll learn
Fully 100% online training on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and an assigned technical tutor. There are no fixed timetables: students progress at their own pace within the enrolment period, which makes it possible to combine the programme with work.
Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standard and applied exercises. The working software is Git, IBM Engineering Requirements Management DOORS Next, Siemens Polarion ALM, Atlassian Jira, PTC Windchill, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Tests are studied using real procedures for physical configuration audits, change impact analysis and development process audits. Assessment is continuous across each module, plus the final integrating project.
Build it end to end
Your final project follows the real engineering workflow, step by step, reviewed by your tutor.
Apply the configuration management principles of ISO 10007.
Establish full traceability between requirements, design and tests.
Manage versions and baselines of artefacts.
Integrate PLM and ALM systems across the lifecycle.
Plan quality assurance for processes and products.
