How you'll learn
100% online training on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and an assigned technical tutor. No fixed timetables: you progress at your own pace within the intake, so it can be combined with work.
Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standard and applied exercises. The working software is Vector CANoe, Vector CANalyzer, PEAK PCAN-View, SavvyCAN and python-can, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Testing is studied on real procedures: frame analysis with CANoe, bit-timing measurement with an oscilloscope and error injection on the bus. Assessment is continuous by module plus the final project.
Standards covered: ISO 11898-1:2015, ISO 11898-2:2016, ISO 17987 (LIN), ISO 17458 (FlexRay), ISO 15765-2:2016, ISO 14229-1:2020 (UDS), SAE J1939, ISO 16845-1:2016.
