How you'll learn
100% online training on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and an assigned technical tutor. There are no fixed timetables: you progress at your own pace within the intake, so the course is compatible with full-time work.
Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standards and applied exercises. The working software is FIWARE, The Things Network, Grafana, QGIS and DIALux evo, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Real procedures are studied, including the deployment of environmental sensors in a square, the design of adaptive public lighting and the data-based evaluation of how a public space is used. Assessment is continuous by module, plus the final integrating project.
Standards covered: UNE 178104; UNE-EN 13201; Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR); Royal Decree 1890/2008; Order TMA/851/2021; Directive (EU) 2022/2555 (NIS 2); ISO/IEC 30141; ISO 37122.
Build it end to end
Your final project follows the real engineering workflow, step by step, reviewed by your tutor.
