Methodology, software & labs

How you'll learn

100% online training on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and an assigned technical tutor. There are no fixed timetables: you progress at your own pace within each intake, making it compatible with work.

Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standards and applied exercises. The working software is VGSTUDIO MAX, PolyWorks, Materialise Magics, Siemens Teamcenter and Minitab, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Real procedures are studied: porosity inspection by computed tomography, planning of HIP and heat treatments, and digital traceability management for additive parts. Assessment is continuous by module, plus the final project.

Standards covered: SAE AMS 2801; SAE AMS 2750; SAE AMS 7003; ASTM E3166; ISO/ASTM 52901; ASTM F3301; EN 9100:2018; ISO 1101.

Assigned technical tutor:every module ends with a deliverable that your tutor marks individually.
Standards-based learning:guided reading of SAE AMS 2801, SAE AMS 2750 and SAE AMS 7003 applied to real cases, not as a theoretical annex.
Industry software:VGSTUDIO MAX, PolyWorks, Materialise Magics, Siemens Teamcenter, Minitab, in free, academic or evaluation versions.
Final project:a post-processing and inspection project for an additive part, covering heat treatment, finishing, non-destructive and dimensional inspection, traceability and release criteria, reviewed by your tutor.
Flexible format:100% online, no fixed timetables, compatible with full-time work.
Capstone project
