How you'll learn
100% online training on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and an assigned technical tutor. There are no fixed timetables: you progress at your own pace within each intake, so you can combine the programme with your job.
Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standard and applied exercises. The working software is GT-SUITE, ANSYS Fluent, Simcenter Amesim, ThermoAnalytics TAITherm and MATLAB/Simulink, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Testing is studied through real procedures: sizing the radiator of a sports motorcycle, thermal simulation of a battery during fast charging, and measuring brake disc temperatures on a circuit. Assessment is continuous by module, plus the final Master's Thesis.
Standards covered: ISO 6469-1, IEC 62660-2, ISO 16750-4, SAE J1739, UN ECE Regulation No. 136, ISO 7730, ISO 13732-1, ISO 8710.
Build it end to end
Your final project follows the real engineering workflow, step by step, reviewed by your tutor.
