How you'll learn

Training is 100% online on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and an assigned technical tutor. There are no fixed timetables: you progress at your own pace within the intake, so the programme can be combined with work.

Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standard and applied exercises. The working software is Siemens Teamcenter, Dassault Systèmes ENOVIA, PTC Windchill and SAP PLM, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Practical work is based on real procedures: analysis of real design changes, simulation of configuration control boards and configuration audits on industrial cases. Assessment is continuous by module plus the final project.

Standards covered: EIA-649C, ISO 10007:2017, Regulation (EU) 748/2012 (Part-21), EN 9100:2018, EN 9102, MIL-HDBK-61B, RTCA DO-178C.

Assigned technical tutor:every module ends with a deliverable that your tutor marks individually.
Standards-based learning:guided reading of EIA-649C, ISO 10007:2017 and Part-21 applied to real cases, not as a theoretical annex.
Industry software:Siemens Teamcenter, Dassault Systèmes ENOVIA, PTC Windchill and SAP PLM, in free, academic or evaluation versions.
Final project:a redesigned engineering change process for an aerospace product, simulated end to end, reviewed by your tutor.
Flexible format:100% online, no fixed timetables, compatible with full-time work.
Capstone project

Build it end to end

Your final project follows the real engineering workflow, step by step, reviewed by your tutor.

Current process diagnosis
Select a product, set the scope and diagnose the current change process.
Proposed change workflow
Design the new ECR-ECO workflow with CCB roles.
Classification and impact matrix
Build the matrix for classifying changes and assessing their impact.
End-to-end simulation
Simulate a change from request to implementation and analyse implementation risks.
Final project
Present the implementation plan with monitoring indicators, reviewed by your tutor.

A SEIUM Institute certificate, awarded on passing the continuous assessment and the final project. It is SEIUM's own qualification, not an official state degree; its recognition depends on the programme completed and the regulations of each country.

Yes. Modules passed are recognised in a higher programme in the same area (postgraduate diploma or master's). Ask about the recognition policy when you enrol.
