How you'll learn
A 100% online programme on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and an assigned technical tutor. There are no fixed timetables: you progress at your own pace within each intake, so it can be combined with work.
Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standard and applied exercises. The working software is ReliaSoft Weibull++, @RISK, Isograph Availability Workbench and MATLAB, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Practical work is based on real procedures: remaining life analysis with fleet data, risk registers for life extension programmes and business cases for extension versus replacement. Assessment is continuous for each module, plus the final project.
Standards covered: ISO 31000:2018, MIL-STD-882E, IEC 31010:2019, MIL-STD-1530D, IEC 62402:2019, EMAR-M, IEC 60812:2018 and SAE JA1011.
Build it end to end
Your final project follows the real engineering workflow, step by step, reviewed by your tutor.
