Methodology, software & labs

How you'll learn

100% online training on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and an assigned technical tutor. There is no fixed timetable: you progress at your own pace within the intake, so the programme is compatible with work.

Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standard and applied exercises. The working software is NVIDIA Omniverse, Perforce Helix Core, Autodesk Flow Production Tracking, Unreal Engine and PiXYZ Studio, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Testing is studied through real procedures for batch automation of CAD data conversion, organisation of digital asset repositories and image production with a render farm. Assessment is continuous by module plus the final project.

Standards covered: ISO 10303-242, ISO 14306, ISO/IEC 27001, ISO 15489-1, IEC 61966-2-1, SMPTE ST 2065-1.

Assigned technical tutor:every module ends with a deliverable that your tutor marks individually.
Standards-based learning:guided reading of ISO 10303-242, ISO 14306 and ISO/IEC 27001 applied to real cases, not as a theoretical annex.
Industry software:NVIDIA Omniverse, Perforce Helix Core, Autodesk Flow Production Tracking, Unreal Engine and PiXYZ Studio, in free, academic or evaluation versions.
Final project:a complete visualisation pipeline design with automated data preparation, an asset repository and PLM integration, piloted and reviewed by your tutor.
Flexible format:100% online, no fixed timetables, compatible with full-time work.
