Diploma in MBSE with SysML for Military Platforms
Online postgraduate diploma of 800 hours in MBSE with SysML for military platforms. 8 modules covering military platforms as systems, requirements and use-case modelling, functional architecture, physical and interface architecture, budget analysis, simulation and verification, and model management and delivery, with an assigned technical tutor.
Take the controls.
Run a real engineering trade-off from this field. Move the sliders, watch the model react in real time and beat the challenge.
What you will be able to do
Analyse military platforms as complex systems.
Model requirements and use cases in SysML.
Build functional architectures and operating modes.
Model physical architectures and interfaces.
Carry out parametric budget analyses.
Simulate and verify the platform from the model.
Manage and deliver models in collaborative environments.

How you'll learn
100% online training on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and an assigned technical tutor. No fixed timetables: you progress at your own pace within each intake, so it fits around your job.
Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standard and applied exercises. The working software is Cameo Systems Modeler, Capella, MATLAB Simulink, IBM DOORS Next and Teamwork Cloud, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Practical work is based on real procedures for platform architecture modelling, parametric mass and power analysis and operational scenario simulation. Assessment is continuous by module plus the final project.
Standards covered: OMG SysML v1.6, OMG SysML v2.0, STANAG 4754, ISO/IEC/IEEE 15288:2023, NATO Architecture Framework v4, ISO/IEC/IEEE 29148.
Build it end to end
Your final project follows the real engineering workflow, step by step, reviewed by your tutor.
