How you'll learn

A 100% online programme on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and an assigned technical tutor. There are no fixed timetables: you progress at your own pace within each intake, so it can be combined with work.

Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standard and applied exercises. The working software is Keysight PathWave, CST Studio Suite, ANSYS HFSS, ETS-Lindgren TILE! and MATLAB, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Testing is studied through real procedures: EMC tests in shielded chambers, environmental qualification tests and RF performance tests in anechoic chambers. Assessment is continuous for each module, plus the final project.

Standards covered: MIL-STD-461G, MIL-STD-464D, MIL-STD-810H, RTCA DO-178C, MIL-STD-882E, AJP-3.6, EMAR 21 and RTCA DO-160G.

Assigned technical tutor:every module ends with a deliverable that your tutor marks individually.
Standards-based learning:guided reading of MIL-STD-461G, MIL-STD-464D and MIL-STD-810H applied to real cases, not as a theoretical annex.
Industry software:Keysight PathWave, CST Studio Suite, ANSYS HFSS, ETS-Lindgren TILE! and MATLAB, in free, academic or evaluation versions.
Final project:A complete certification project for an EW system, from certification basis and test plans to the compliance matrix, reviewed by your tutor.
Flexible format:100% online, no fixed timetables, compatible with full-time work.
