Course in Safety in Bridge Construction
Online course of 300 hours in safety in bridge construction, structured in 6 modules covering risk assessment, work at height, construction processes, lifting operations and safety management, with an assigned technical tutor.
Take the controls.
Run a real engineering trade-off from this field. Move the sliders, watch the model react in real time and beat the challenge.
What you will be able to do
Identify the main risks in bridge construction.
Plan collective protection for work at height.
Analyse the safety of each construction process.
Prepare safe lifting plans.
Manage on-site prevention using indicators.
Investigate accidents and incidents.
Draw up a complete safety plan for a bridge.

How you'll learn
Training is 100% online on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and an assigned technical tutor. There are no fixed timetables: you progress at your own pace within each intake, so the programme fits around your job.
Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original regulations and applied exercises. The working software is Presto, AutoCAD, Liebherr Crane Planner and Microsoft Project, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Cases are studied on real procedures such as lifting plans for precast girders, risk assessment in balanced cantilever construction and investigation of on-site incidents. Assessment is continuous by module, plus the final project.
Standards covered: Real Decreto 1627/1997, Ley 31/1995, Real Decreto 2177/2004, EN 13374, EN 1263-1, EN 12812, ISO 45001.
Build it end to end
Your final project follows the real engineering workflow, step by step, reviewed by your tutor.
