Methodology, software & labs

How you'll learn

100% online training on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and an assigned technical tutor. There are no fixed timetables: you progress at your own pace within each intake, so the programme fits around your job.

Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standards and applied exercises. The working software is Siemens Jack, RAMSIS, Kinovea and Ergonautas (RULA/REBA), in free, academic or evaluation versions. Real procedures are studied: measuring the ergonomic triangle, measuring handlebar and seat vibration, and evaluating interfaces with users. Assessment is continuous by module, plus the final project.

Standards covered: ISO 6385, ISO 11226, ISO 2631-1, ISO 5349-1, UNE-EN ISO 7250-1, ISO 15008, UNECE Regulation No. 60.

Assigned technical tutor:every module ends with a deliverable that your tutor marks individually.
Standards-based learning:guided reading of ISO 6385, ISO 11226 and ISO 2631-1 applied to real cases, not as a theoretical annex.
Industry software:Siemens Jack, RAMSIS, Kinovea and Ergonautas (RULA/REBA), in free, academic or evaluation versions.
Final project:a complete ergonomic study of a motorcycle for a defined user, reviewed by your tutor.
Flexible format:100% online, no fixed timetables, compatible with full-time work.
Capstone project

Build it end to end

Your final project follows the real engineering workflow, step by step, reviewed by your tutor.

Ergonomic triangle measurement
Measure the handlebar-seat-footpeg triangle and relate it to the user population.
Vibration and comfort assessment
Measure handlebar vibration and assess postural loads and comfort.
TFT interface evaluation
Evaluate the legibility and cognitive load of a TFT dashboard.
Digital human model assessment
Carry out an ergonomic assessment with a digital human model and RULA/REBA.
Final project
Produce and present a complete ergonomic study of a motorcycle with design proposals, reviewed by your tutor.
