Methodology, software & labs

How you'll learn

Delivered 100% online on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and an assigned technical tutor. There are no fixed timetables: you progress at your own pace within the intake, so it fits around your job.

Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standard and applied exercises. The working software is AutoCAD, QGIS, SketchUp, Ladybug Tools and Twinmotion, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Practical work is based on real procedures: public life studies, climate comfort analysis and post-occupancy evaluations. Assessment is continuous by module, plus the final project.

Standards covered: Order TMA/851/2021; Royal Legislative Decree 7/2015; Spanish Urban Agenda 2019; UN-Habitat New Urban Agenda; UNE-EN 13201; UNE-EN 1176; Law 7/2021.

Assigned technical tutor:every module ends with a deliverable that your tutor marks individually.
Standards-based learning:guided reading of Order TMA/851/2021, Royal Legislative Decree 7/2015 and the Spanish Urban Agenda 2019 applied to real cases, not as a theoretical annex.
Industry software:AutoCAD, QGIS, SketchUp, Ladybug Tools and Twinmotion, in free, academic or evaluation versions.
Final project:a complete public space project, from public life diagnosis and the programme of uses to materials, accessibility, budget and maintenance plan, reviewed by your tutor.
Flexible format:100% online, no fixed timetables, compatible with full-time work.
