Postgraduate Diploma in Applied K&C and Vehicle Measurements — studying from Singapore
Singapore has no domestic vehicle manufacturing, so automotive engineering here focuses on vehicle testing, distribution, electrification policy, aftermarket engineering and motorsport events. The Marina Bay Street Circuit hosts the Singapore Grand Prix, supporting a niche motorsport engineering and events ecosystem. Regulation of road vehicles, emissions and inspections is handled by the Land Transport Authority, while the Vehicle Inspection and Certification functions interact with the sector. Typical employers include global distributors, service groups and engineering consultancies serving the regional market.
Fees for Singapore: S$2,560 (Singapore dollar), with instalments and employer sponsorship available.

Questions from Singapore
Which Singapore bodies oversee automotive engineering, and is SEIUM's qualification recognised?
Singapore has no separate automotive engineering licence. Vehicle safety and inspection fall under the Land Transport Authority (LTA), and engineers may register as Professional Engineers with the Professional Engineers Board (PEB). SEIUM's qualifications are private, not state degrees, and not accredited by any national body. Recognition is decided by employers or the relevant body, so confirm acceptance before you commit.
What kinds of employers in Singapore use automotive and motorsport engineering skills?
Singapore's automotive activity covers vehicle distributors, service and workshop groups, fleet operators, and suppliers linked to the wider manufacturing sector. Motorsport-related roles are fewer but exist within teams and events in Singapore, such as the Singapore Grand Prix ecosystem. Employers typically look at practical experience and project evidence. Your SEIUM final project can support your application, though its value depends on each employer.
How much time does the course need alongside work, and what English level is required?
Everything is delivered online in English, and you get an assigned technical tutor. Plan carefully, as a master's needs about 1,900 hours and a specialist course about 300 hours, which is significant if you work full-time. Because lessons are online, you can schedule study around Singapore working hours. Ask about instalment plans, and check whether your employer will sponsor part of the fees.
Take the controls.
Run a real engineering trade-off from this field. Move the sliders, watch the model react in real time and beat the challenge.

How you'll learn
Fully 100 % online training on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and an assigned technical tutor. There are no fixed timetables: students progress at their own pace within the intake, which makes it possible to combine study with work.
Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standard and applied exercises. The working software is Adams Car, MATLAB, MoTeC i2 Pro, Abaqus, VI-CarRealTime, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Tests are studied using real K&C bench test procedures, instrumented track measurements and multibody model correlation. Assessment is continuous per module, plus the final integrating project.
Build it end to end
Your final project follows the real engineering workflow, step by step, reviewed by your tutor.
Interpret kinematics and compliance tests and metrics.
Analyse the effect of compliance on vehicle behaviour.
Instrument vehicles for dynamic measurement.
Design and carry out track measurements.
Correlate multibody models with measured data.
