How you'll learn

Training is 100% online on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and an assigned technical tutor. There are no fixed timetables: you progress at your own pace within each intake, so it fits around your job.

Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standards and applied exercises. The working software is AEDT, ANOPP2, MATLAB, CadnaA and OpenFOAM, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Practical work is based on real procedures for acoustic measurement of rotor flyovers, simulation of noise footprints at vertiports and auralisation of urban operations. Assessment is continuous by module, plus the final capstone project.

Standards covered: ICAO Annex 16 to the Chicago Convention, Volume I, Directive 2002/49/EC, Directive (EU) 2015/996 (CNOSSOS-EU), ISO 9613-2, Regulation (EU) No 598/2014, EASA SC-VTOL-01, ISO 1996-1, Royal Decree 1513/2005.

Assigned technical tutor:every module ends with a deliverable that your tutor marks individually.
Standards-based learning:guided reading of ICAO Annex 16, Directive 2002/49/EC and the CNOSSOS-EU methods applied to real cases, not as a theoretical annex.
Industry software:AEDT, ANOPP2, MATLAB, CadnaA and OpenFOAM, in free, academic or evaluation versions.
Final project:a noise impact study of eVTOL operations over a real urban scenario, from source modelling to mitigation alternatives, reviewed by your tutor.
Flexible format:100% online, no fixed timetables, compatible with full-time work.
