Questions from Singapore
Can I study while working full time in Singapore?
Yes. The programmes are 100% online, and learners can organise their study around work hours, with recorded material and a dedicated technical tutor supporting progress at a flexible pace.
Will SEIUM help me register as a professional engineer in Singapore?
SEIUM does not guarantee registration. Registration as a professional engineer is decided by the Professional Engineers Board, and learners should verify the requirements with the Board before enrolling.
Take the controls.
Run a real engineering trade-off from this field. Move the sliders, watch the model react in real time and beat the challenge.
What you will be able to do
Understand the equations governing the flow around an aircraft.
Generate quality meshes for aerofoils, wings and fuselages.
Select the appropriate turbulence model for each flight regime.
Set up boundary conditions and solvers in commercial and open-source tools.
Obtain and analyse aerodynamic coefficients and pressure distributions.
Verify and validate numerical results against experimental data.
Document a CFD study to professional quality standards.

How you'll learn
100% online training on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and an assigned technical tutor. No fixed timetables: you progress at your own pace within the intake, so it fits around your job.
Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standard and applied exercises. The working software is ANSYS Fluent, Simcenter STAR-CCM+, OpenFOAM, SU2 and ParaView, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Testing is studied through real procedures: simulation of aerofoils and wings in subsonic and transonic regimes, validation against AIAA Drag Prediction Workshop cases and mesh and turbulence model sensitivity studies. Assessment is continuous by module plus the final integrative project.
Standards covered: AIAA G-077-1998, ASME V&V 20-2009, NASA-STD-7009A, CS-25 (EASA), CS-23 (EASA), ISO 2533.
Build it end to end
Your final project follows the real engineering workflow, step by step, reviewed by your tutor.
