How you'll learn
100 % online training on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and an assigned technical tutor. No fixed timetable: students progress at their own pace within the enrolment period, which makes it possible to combine the programme with work.
Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standard and applied exercises. The working software is Apache Kafka, Apache Spark, Apache Flink, AWS IoT Core, PostgreSQL with TimescaleDB, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Tests are studied using real procedures for designing a streaming ingestion architecture, load testing with trip data, and security and privacy assessment of the platform. Assessment is continuous across each module, plus the final integrating project.
Build it end to end
Your final project follows the real engineering workflow, step by step, reviewed by your tutor.
Describe the insurance telematics ecosystem.
Select devices and connectivity technologies.
Design data ingestion and streaming processing.
Define storage and analytics for driving data.
Build services and applications for policyholders and insurers.
