How you'll learn
Training 100 % online on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable material, recorded lectures and an assigned technical tutor. No fixed timetables: students progress at their own pace within the intake, making it compatible with work.
Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standard and applied exercises. The working software is Veins, SUMO, ns-3, Vector CANoe.Car2x, Wireshark, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Tests are studied using real procedures for simulating cooperative scenarios with SUMO and Veins, fall detection tests with an instrumented IMU, and assessment of communication range on the road. Assessment is continuous per module, plus the final integrating project.
Build it end to end
Your final project follows the real engineering workflow, step by step, reviewed by your tutor.
Describe telematics architectures for connected motorcycles.
Design accident detection and emergency call systems.
Explain V2X communication technologies.
Develop cooperative applications aimed at vulnerable road users.
Integrate telematics and V2X communication into the motorcycle.
