How you'll learn
100% online training on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and a dedicated technical tutor. No fixed timetable: students progress at their own pace within the intake, so the programme can be fitted around work.
Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standard and applied exercises. The working software is Siemens Opcenter, AVEVA MES, Schneider EcoStruxure Power, MATLAB/Simulink, Python with Pyomo, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Tests are studied on real procedures for calculating energy per unit produced, setpoint optimisation with dynamic electricity prices, and demand response in industrial plants. Assessment is continuous by module, plus the final integrating project.
Build it end to end
Your final project follows the real engineering workflow, step by step, reviewed by your tutor.
Apply the ISA-95 model to factory systems integration.
Implement energy management systems in line with ISO 50001.
Integrate energy data with production execution.
Design control strategies aimed at minimising costs.
Exploit industrial energy flexibility and demand response.
