How you'll learn
100 % online study on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and an assigned technical tutor. No fixed timetable: students progress at their own pace within the intake, making it compatible with work.
Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standard and applied exercises. The working software is AVEVA Marine, Siemens Teamcenter, Dassault 3DEXPERIENCE, Siemens Plant Simulation, Leica Cyclone, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Tests are studied using real procedures for 3D laser scanning and block dimensional control, shipyard production simulation and workshop IoT data integration. Assessment is continuous per module plus the final integrative project.
Build it end to end
Your final project follows the real engineering workflow, step by step, reviewed by your tutor.
Explain the concept and levels of digital twins in shipbuilding.
Structure the 3D ship model as the basis of the digital twin.
Capture construction data using sensors and scanning.
Simulate shipyard production planning.
Control dimensional quality by comparing the model with reality.
