How you'll learn
Training is 100% online on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and an assigned technical tutor. There are no fixed timetables: you progress at your own pace within each intake, so it fits around your job.
Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original regulations and applied exercises. The working software is DJI Pilot 2, FLIR Thermal Studio, Pix4Dmapper, Ultralytics YOLO and ArcGIS Pro, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Practical work is based on real procedures for thermographic inspection of connections, automatic defect detection on insulators and LiDAR measurement of vegetation clearance. Assessment is continuous by module, plus the final capstone project.
Standards covered: Implementing Regulation (EU) 2019/947, Royal Decree 223/2008 (high-voltage lines regulation), Royal Decree 614/2001 (electrical risk), ISO 18436-7, UNE-EN 50341-1, IEEE 516, Royal Decree 517/2024.
