Methodology, software & labs

How you'll learn

100% online training on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and an assigned technical tutor. No fixed timetables: you progress at your own pace within each intake, making it compatible with work.

Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standard and applied exercises. The working software is Figma, ProtoPie, Arduino, Unity and Tobii Pro Lab, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Practical work is based on real procedures: a haptic glove interface prototype for navigation, user testing of a helmet with a head-up display and the design of the mobile app for a connected airbag vest. Assessment is continuous by module plus the final Master's Thesis.

Standards covered: ISO 9241-210, ISO 9241-11, ISO 15007, IEC 62368-1, Directive 2014/53/EU, Regulation (EU) 2016/425, Regulation (EU) 2017/745, Regulation (EU) 2016/679.

Assigned technical tutor:every module ends with a deliverable that your tutor marks individually.
Standards-based learning:guided reading of ISO 9241-210, ISO 9241-11, ISO 15007 and IEC 62368-1 applied to real cases, not as a theoretical annex.
Industry software:Figma, ProtoPie, Arduino, Unity and Tobii Pro Lab, in free, academic or evaluation versions.
Master's Thesis with defence:a user-centred wearable for motorcyclists, from user research and interaction design to a functional prototype, user evaluation and product plan, defended before a panel.
Flexible format:100% online, no fixed timetables, compatible with full-time work.
