How you'll learn
100% online training on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and an assigned technical tutor. No fixed timetables: you progress at your own pace within the intake, so it fits around your job.
Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standards and applied exercises. The working software is GT-SUITE, Ansys Fluent, AVL Cruise, MATLAB/Simulink and ReliaSoft Weibull++, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Exercises are based on real procedures: engine bench testing, thermal simulation of engine compartments and reliability analysis of powertrains. Assessment is continuous by module, plus the final Master's Thesis.
Standards covered: MIL-STD-1275E, MIL-STD-810H, MIL-DTL-83133 (JP-8), MIL-STD-461G, MIL-STD-882E, ISO 1585, AQAP 2110.
