Methodology, software & labs

How you'll learn

100% online training on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and an assigned technical tutor. There are no fixed timetables: you progress at your own pace within each intake, which makes the programme compatible with work.

Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standard and applied exercises. The working software is ROS 2, MoveIt, Gazebo, NVIDIA Isaac Sim and MATLAB/Simulink, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Testing is studied through real procedures from a collaborative robot cell, a 3D vision test bench and a real-time control laboratory. Assessment is continuous by module, plus the final Master's Thesis.

Standards covered: ISO 10218-1 and -2, ISO/TS 15066, ISO 13849, IEC 62061, ISO 3691-4, IEC 61131-3, ISO 9283, IEC 62443, EU Machinery Regulation 2023/1230.

Assigned technical tutor:every module ends with a deliverable that your tutor marks individually.
Standards-based learning:guided reading of ISO 10218-1 and -2, ISO/TS 15066 and ISO 13849 applied to real cases, not as a theoretical annex.
Industry software:ROS 2, MoveIt, Gazebo, NVIDIA Isaac Sim and MATLAB/Simulink, in free, academic or evaluation versions.
Master's Thesis with defence:a complete CE marking and machinery conformity project developed under the supervision of your thesis director, defended before a panel.
Flexible format:100% online, no fixed timetables, compatible with full-time work.
