How you'll learn
100% online training on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and an assigned technical tutor. No fixed timetables: you progress at your own pace within the intake, so it can be combined with work.
Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standard and applied exercises. The working software is MATLAB/Simulink, Python, PTV Visum, Optibus and QGIS, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Testing is studied through real procedures for total cost of ownership analysis by segment, fleet operation simulation and sizing of depot infrastructure. Assessment is continuous by module, plus the final Master's Thesis.
Standards covered: Regulation (EU) 2019/1242 (CO2 heavy-duty vehicles), Regulation (EU) 2023/1804 (AFIR), Regulation (EU) 2023/1542 (batteries), SAE J3105, Directive 2006/42/EC (machinery), Regulation (EU) 2023/1805 (FuelEU Maritime), IEC 61851-1, EN 50604-1.
Build it end to end
Your final project follows the real engineering workflow, step by step, reviewed by your tutor.
