LOSA Incident Management Course
Online course of 300 hours in LOSA incident management. 6 modules covering the LOSA programme, the threat and error management model, flight deck observation, LOSA data analysis and operational incident management, with an assigned technical tutor.
Take the controls.
Run a real engineering trade-off from this field. Move the sliders, watch the model react in real time and beat the challenge.
What you will be able to do

How you'll learn
Training is 100% online on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and an assigned technical tutor. There are no fixed timetables: you progress at your own pace within the intake, so the programme can be combined with work.
Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standard and applied exercises. The working software is Microsoft Power BI, Python with pandas, SPSS and Microsoft Excel, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Exercises are based on real procedures: observation of line flights with a TEM form, statistical analysis of a LOSA campaign and internal investigation of an operational incident. Assessment is continuous by module, plus the final project.
Standards covered: ICAO Doc 9803 Line Operations Safety Audit (LOSA), Annex 19 to the Chicago Convention. Safety Management, Regulation (EU) 965/2012 on air operations, ICAO Doc 9859 Safety Management Manual, FAA AC 120-90 Line Operations Safety Audits, Regulation (EU) 376/2014 on occurrence reporting, ICAO Doc 9995 Manual of Evidence-based Training.
