Course on race strategies in endurance motorcycling — studying from Ireland
Ireland's two-wheeler sector is mainly represented by retail, servicing, touring and motorsport activity rather than large-scale manufacturing. Motorcycle dealerships, specialist workshops and events such as the North West 200 and the Irish road racing scene sustain a strong engineering and technical community. Engineers and technicians in this area work on vehicle dynamics, electrical systems, testing and performance tuning. Road vehicle type-approval and safety requirements are overseen by national transport and road safety authorities.
Fees for Ireland: €743 (Euro), with instalments and employer sponsorship available.

Questions from Ireland
Is there a recognised professional body in Ireland for this area that this qualification is linked to?
Motorcycle engineering in Ireland has no single regulated professional title. Engineers commonly join Engineers Ireland, and motorsport or automotive professionals may participate in relevant industry associations. SEIUM's qualifications are private and not accredited by any national body, so they do not grant membership or licences. Check the requirements of any body you intend to join.
Would Irish employers in motorcycle and 2-wheeler sectors recognise this training?
Employers in Ireland, including dealerships, component suppliers and specialist workshops, decide for themselves how to value private online qualifications. Practical experience and demonstrable project work are often weighted heavily. The final project may help show your capability, but there is no guarantee of recognition or employment outcome.
How flexible is the programme for someone already working or running a business?
The programme is 100% online and taught in English, so it can be fitted around work from anywhere in Ireland. Specialist courses take 300 hours, postgraduate diplomas 800 hours and master's programmes 1,900 hours. Fees can be paid in instalments, employer sponsorship is possible, and you receive an assigned technical tutor for guidance.
Take the controls.
Run a real engineering trade-off from this field. Move the sliders, watch the model react in real time and beat the challenge.
What you will be able to do

How you'll learn
Training is 100% online on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and an assigned technical tutor. There are no fixed timetables: you progress at your own pace within each intake, so the course is compatible with your job.
Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original regulations and applied exercises. The working software is Excel, Python, MoTeC i2 Pro, Al Kamel Live Timing and Tableau, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Exercises are based on real procedures for stint and fuel-consumption calculation, race-scenario simulation and live-timing monitoring. Assessment is continuous by module, plus the final project.
Standards covered: FIM Endurance World Championship (EWC) Regulations; FIM Sporting Code; FIM Standards for Road Racing Circuits; FIM Medical Code; UNE-EN 3; FIM Environmental Code.
Build it end to end
Your final project follows the real engineering workflow, step by step, reviewed by your tutor.
