How you'll learn
100% online training on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and an assigned technical tutor. No fixed timetables: you progress at your own pace within the intake, making it compatible with work.
Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standard and applied exercises. The working software is Solibri Office, IfcOpenShell, BIMcollab Zoom, Simplebim and usBIM.checker, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Real procedures are studied: writing an IDS for the delivery of a structural model, automatic verification of evacuation routes, and a model acceptance procedure in a public tender. Assessment is continuous by module, plus the final capstone project.
Standards covered: buildingSMART IDS 1.0, UNE-EN ISO 16739-1, UNE-EN 17412-1, UNE-EN ISO 19650-2, UNE-EN ISO 23386, Royal Decree 314/2006 (Spanish Technical Building Code) and ISO 8000-8.
