How you'll learn
100% online training on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and an assigned technical tutor. There are no fixed timetables: you progress at your own pace within the intake, so you can combine it with your job.
Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standard and applied exercises. The working software is Siemens Plant Simulation, Gurobi, Pyomo, Google OR-Tools and AnyLogic, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Practical work is based on real procedures for bottleneck analysis in production plants, capacity planning with optimisation models and investment appraisal using simulation twins. Assessment is continuous by module, plus the final project.
Standards covered: ISO 23247-1:2021, ISO 22400-2:2014, IEC 62264-1:2013 (ISA-95), VDI 3633 Blatt 1, ISO/IEC 30173:2023, IEC 63278-1:2023 (Asset Administration Shell), ISO 9001:2015.
Build it end to end
Your final project follows the real engineering workflow, step by step, reviewed by your tutor.
