How you'll learn
The programme is delivered 100% online on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and an assigned technical tutor. There are no fixed timetables: you progress at your own pace within each intake, so it can be combined with your job.
Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standard and applied exercises. The working software is NVivo, SimaPro, Miro and Zotero, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Practical work is based on real procedures for analysing ethical dilemmas, legal assessments of cases and environmental impact assessments. Assessment is continuous by module, plus the final project.
Standards covered: Additional Protocol I to the Geneva Conventions (Articles 36 and 37), the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea, Regulation (EC) 1907/2006 REACH, the Wassenaar Arrangement, Directive 2008/56/EC and the Vienna Document 2011.
Build it end to end
Your final project follows the real engineering workflow, step by step, reviewed by your tutor.
