How you'll learn

100% online training on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and an assigned technical tutor. There are no fixed timetables: you progress at your own pace within each intake, so the programme fits around your job.

Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standard and applied exercises. The working software is IBM Maximo, MATLAB Predictive Maintenance Toolbox, AMOS and Dynamics 365 Guides, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Exercises are based on real procedures: risk assessment of robotic cells, human factors analysis in maintenance and validation of predictive models. Assessment is continuous by module, plus the final integrating project.

Standards covered: Regulation (EU) 2023/1230, ISO 10218-1, EMAR 145, Regulation (EU) 1321/2014, Organic Law 3/2018, ISO/IEC 42001, EN 13306.

Assigned technical tutor:every module ends with a deliverable that your tutor marks individually.
Standards-based learning:guided reading of Regulation (EU) 2023/1230, ISO 10218-1 and EMAR 145 applied to real cases, not as a theoretical annex.
Industry software:IBM Maximo, MATLAB Predictive Maintenance Toolbox, AMOS and Dynamics 365 Guides, in free, academic or evaluation versions.
Final project:An ethics and governance project for automated maintenance in a real organisation, reviewed by your tutor.
Flexible format:100% online, no fixed timetables, compatible with full-time work.
Capstone project

Build it end to end

Your final project follows the real engineering workflow, step by step, reviewed by your tutor.

Analyse the organisation
Describe the maintenance organisation and the automation technologies proposed for it.
Assess safety impacts
Evaluate the safety risks of the new technologies, including automation bias and human factors.
Assess impacts on work
Analyse how automation changes the technicians' roles, skills and autonomy.
Map the regulatory framework
Identify the machinery, airworthiness and data requirements that apply and build a governance plan.
Final project
Present the ethical analysis, governance plan and conclusions in a report reviewed by your tutor.
