How you'll learn
Training is 100% online on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and an assigned technical tutor. There are no fixed timetables: you progress at your own pace within the intake, so the programme fits around your job.
Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original regulations and applied exercises. The working software is SAP GTS, Descartes Visual Compliance, Dow Jones Risk & Compliance and Thomson Reuters ONESOURCE Global Trade, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Exercises are based on real procedures: screening parties against international lists, calculating de minimis US content and technology control protocols in R&D. Assessment is continuous by module, plus the final capstone project.
Standards covered: Regulation (EU) 2021/821, Export Administration Regulations (15 CFR 730-774), International Traffic in Arms Regulations (22 CFR 120-130), Wassenaar Arrangement, UN Security Council Resolution 1540, Regulation (EC) 2271/96, UK Export Control Order 2008.
