Diploma in Coordination, Clash Detection and Change Control
Online postgraduate diploma of 800 hours in coordination, clash detection and change control. 8 modules covering multidisciplinary BIM coordination, clash detection, BCF issue management, coordination tools, model change control, site-phase coordination and process quality, with UNE-EN ISO 19650 and BCF 3.0, with an assigned technical tutor.
Take the controls.
Run a real engineering trade-off from this field. Move the sliders, watch the model react in real time and beat the challenge.
What you will be able to do
Organise the coordination of multidisciplinary models.
Set up clash detection tests with priority criteria.
Manage issues using the BCF standard.
Compare and select coordination tools.
Implement change control procedures in the model.
Coordinate fabrication and as-built models on site.
Measure and improve the effectiveness of the coordination process.

How you'll learn
100% online training on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and an assigned technical tutor. No fixed timetables: you progress at your own pace within the intake, making it compatible with work.
Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standard and applied exercises. The working software is Autodesk Navisworks Manage, Solibri Office, BIMcollab, Revizto and Autodesk Construction Cloud, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Real procedures are studied: clash test matrix on a federated hospital model, BCF issue cycle between disciplines, and comparison of a point cloud with the design model. Assessment is continuous by module, plus the final capstone project.
Standards covered: UNE-EN ISO 19650-2, UNE-EN ISO 19650-1, buildingSMART BCF 3.0, UNE-EN ISO 16739-1, UNE-EN 17412-1, ISO 10007:2017 and UNE-EN ISO 19650-5.
