Methodology, software & labs

How you'll learn

Training is 100% online on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable materials, recorded classes and an assigned technical tutor. There are no fixed timetables: you progress at your own pace within the intake, making it compatible with work.

Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standard and applied exercises. The working software is Rohde & Schwarz ELEKTRA, Tekbox EMCview, ETS-Lindgren TILE! and Signal Hound Spike, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Tests are studied on real procedures for conducted emission sweeps with a LISN, near-field probe scanning, and discharge and transient immunity testing. Assessment is continuous by module plus the final project.

Standards covered: CISPR 32:2015, CISPR 35:2016, CISPR 16-1-1:2019, CISPR 11:2015, CISPR 25:2021, IEC 61000-4-2:2008, IEC 61000-4-3:2020, ISO/IEC 17025:2017.

Assigned technical tutor:every module ends with a deliverable that your tutor marks individually.
Standards-based learning:guided reading of CISPR 32:2015, CISPR 35:2016 and CISPR 16-1-1:2019 applied to real cases, not as a theoretical annex.
Industry software:Rohde & Schwarz ELEKTRA, Tekbox EMCview, ETS-Lindgren TILE! and Signal Hound Spike, in free, academic or evaluation versions.
Final project:an EMC test campaign project, from standard selection and pre-compliance to corrections, verification and the product technical file, reviewed by your tutor.
Flexible format:100% online, no fixed timetables, compatible with full-time work.
