Airport Control Center Operation Course
Online course of 300 hours in airport operations control centres, structured in 6 modules covering airport control centres, Airport Collaborative Decision Making, operational systems and data, disruption and contingency management, and performance and continuous improvement, with an assigned technical tutor.
Take the controls.
Run a real engineering trade-off from this field. Move the sliders, watch the model react in real time and beat the challenge.
What you will be able to do
Understand the organisation and functions of an airport operations centre.
Apply A-CDM processes and milestones.
Manage operational information systems and their data.
Plan and coordinate the response to contingencies.
Measure operational performance with key indicators.
Build human factors and ergonomics into control room design.
Design the operating model of an airport control centre.
Who it's for
- Operations centre shift managers.
- Airport operations coordinators.
- Operational performance analysts.
- A-CDM technicians.
- Contingency managers responsible for disruption response.

How you'll learn
Training is 100% online on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and an assigned technical tutor. There are no fixed timetables: you progress at your own pace within each intake, so the programme fits around your job.
Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standard and applied exercises. The working software is SITA or Amadeus AODB, Microsoft Power BI, Python with pandas, AnyLogic and Tableau, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Exercises are based on real procedures for analysing A-CDM milestones and punctuality, managing operational contingencies and designing an operational dashboard. Assessment is continuous by module, plus the final project.
Standards covered: Regulation (EU) 139/2014; EUROCONTROL Airport CDM Implementation Manual; EN 303 212; ICAO Doc 9971; ICAO Doc 9859; ISO 11064; Directive (EU) 2022/2555 (NIS 2).
Build it end to end
Your final project follows the real engineering workflow, step by step, reviewed by your tutor.
