How you'll learn
100% online training on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and an assigned technical tutor. There are no fixed timetables: you progress at your own pace within each intake, making it compatible with work.
Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standard and applied exercises. The working software is Microsoft Excel, Bloomberg Terminal, Python with pandas, Crystal Ball and Power BI, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Practical work is based on real procedures: cash flow modelling of a regional aircraft programme, comparison of financing options for a fleet and valuation of a satellite start-up. Assessment is continuous by module plus the final capstone project.
Standards covered: IFRS 15 Revenue from Contracts with Customers, IFRS 16 Leases, 2001 Cape Town Convention, OECD Aircraft Sector Understanding, IFRS 9 Financial Instruments, IAS 38 Intangible Assets, Basel III.
Build it end to end
Your final project follows the real engineering workflow, step by step, reviewed by your tutor.
