How you'll learn
100% online training on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and an assigned technical tutor. There are no fixed timetables: you progress at your own pace within the intake, so it fits around your job.
Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standard and applied exercises. The working software is MATLAB/Simulink, dSPACE SCALEXIO, NI VeriStand, Vector CANoe and Speedgoat Simulink Real-Time, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Testing is studied on real procedures: hardware-in-the-loop testing of electronic control units, SIL validation integrated into continuous integration and electrical fault injection campaigns. Assessment is continuous by module, plus the final capstone project.
Standards covered: ISO 26262:2018, ASAM XIL 2.2, IEC 61508:2010, ASAM MDF 4.2, AUTOSAR Classic Platform, ASAM OpenSCENARIO, ISO 21448:2022, DO-178C.
Build it end to end
Your final project follows the real engineering workflow, step by step, reviewed by your tutor.
