Methodology, software & labs

How you'll learn

100% online learning on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and an assigned technical tutor. There are no fixed timetables: you progress at your own pace within the intake, so the programme fits around your job.

Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standard and applied exercises. The working software is Vector CANoe with the SmartCharging option, Keysight Scienlab Charging Discovery System, Rohde & Schwarz EMC32, Wireshark and Comemso, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Tests are studied on real procedures: insulation and electrical safety tests under UN R100, analysis of ISO 15118 communication in a charging session and the design of a battery passport data model. Assessment is continuous by module, plus the final Master's Thesis.

Standards covered: UN R100, UN R10, ISO 15118-20:2022, IEC 62196-3:2022, Regulation (EU) 2023/1542, Open Charge Alliance OCPP 2.0.1, SAE J1772, GB/T 20234.3-2023.

Assigned technical tutor:every module ends with a deliverable that your tutor marks individually.
Standards-based learning:guided reading of UN R100, UN R10, ISO 15118-20 and OCPP 2.0.1 applied to real cases, not as a theoretical annex.
Industry software:Vector CANoe with the SmartCharging option, Keysight Scienlab Charging Discovery System, Rohde & Schwarz EMC32, Wireshark and Comemso, in free, academic or evaluation versions.
Master's Thesis with defence:A complete HV and charging system design covering HV safety, EMC, connectors and protocols, ISO 15118 and OCPP integration, battery passport and type-approval plan, defended before a panel.
Flexible format:100% online, no fixed timetables, compatible with full-time work.
